Dr Cohen established the popular international science portal MumsInScience to support parents who work, have worked or want to work in any aspect of science.

She has also run workshops for WOMEN IN SCIENCE

And is currently producing a book entitled 'Surviving as a Woman in Science'

She is a member of the Womens' National Commission and is a mentor to women science undergraduates in the US and is on the UK Database of Women Experts in Science, Engineering and Technology
